Dickinson Parks & Recreation provides excellent recreational opportunities including Heart River Golf Course and the West River Community Center.  Heart River Golf Course offers a challenging 18-hole, par 72 golf course that is nestled along the Heart River.  This highly regarded course combines a rolling top nine with a wooded bottom nine that brings plenty of trees and water into play. 

The West River Community Center is a 135,000 square foot recreation facility with indoor and outdoor pools with water slides, lazy river, whirlpool, sauna, and steam room; 4 full size gymnasiums, racquetball courts, indoor tennis courts, indoor golf simulator, climbing wall, 2 levels of fitness space with state of the art cardio and strength equipment, group fitness classes, indoor walk/jog track, indoor playground and more.
