TENORM Measurement Solutions (TMS) was founded in 2017 to provide rapid total radium activity concentration measurement results using their TENspec™ measurement method. This process involves a HPGe (High Purity Germanium) detector using gamma spectroscopy to quantify total radium in soil and soil-like materials measuring in pCi/g (picocuries per gram). The laboratory is located in the heart of the Bakken in Watford City. From this location we pick up samples from location and provide results within 24 hours of pickup/drop off.

In November of 2019, Focke & Associates purchased TMS and expanded services provided from Radium 226/228 measurements to Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) duties, 8 hour TENORM surveyor training, 2 hour TENORM awareness training, field/pipe surveys, as well as partnering with PACE Analytical to pick-up, send, and verify the results pass the parameters for your disposal needs.
