Basin Transload LLC

Company Description

Basin Transload LLC is an innovative rail and truck transload business serving the Bakken since 2008 working closely with our customers to create unique value-adding solutions.  Our sites have all-weather, maximum load truck access to BNSF and Canadian Pacific railways bracketing the Bakken region.  We can manage, sort and store railcars for our customers and are fully equipped to repair and maintain track and roadways.

Our transloading experience covers crude, NGLs, fuels, frac sand/proppants, pipe and rail materials.  Additionally, we self-performed all development and directly operate rail and truck transload facilities.  Our sites at Beulah and Stampede both have additional space for material laydown or additional service development.

Basin Transload’s Beulah facility is a unit train capable transloading site served by BNSF and has 243,000 barrels of crude storage.  The site can receive 20,000 bopd from Andeavor’s High Plains Pipeline and 50,000 bopd by truck.  Basin’s Beulah site enjoys the best pipeline tariff rate from Johnson’s Corner to any unit rail loading site. The Beulah facility is also a fully capable rail to truck frac sand transloading location.
