Western States and Tribal Nations Energy Initiative (WSTN) is an organization governed by western states, sovereign tribal governments and neighboring allied provinces that advocates for the development of clean energy derived from natural gas including liquefied natural gas (LNG), blue hydrogen and decarbonized ammonia, for domestic and international use. Our mission is to facilitate rural economic development, tribal sovereignty and self-determination and lower emissions through the development of markets for natural gas. WSTN is also tasked with promoting infrastructure for natural gas exports that contribute to lower global emissions and energy abundance, such as carbon capture and sequestration, hydrogen, ammonia, and other related fuels.
